24 KARAT GOLD PIKACHU PROMO CARD. Okemon Center 2016 20th Anniversary 24 Karat Pure Gold Pikachu Promo Card. This card was only available through a special pre-sale on the Japanese Pokemon Online site and 7-Net retailer from October 19, 2016 to November 7, 2016. The card is a replica of the the very first Pikachu card from back in 1996. Each card was custom made using 11 grams of real 24 karat pure gold. The bottom of the card says that the card has 11 grams of pure gold (in Japanese).

It is made by famous gold maker Ginza Tanaka which has been making fine gold and jewelry in Japan since 1910. Although nobody knows exactly how many of these were made, the number made is extremely low because of the very high original price tag of this card. The card comes framed in a beautiful plastic case.
